Anonymized Queries
Anonymized Queries
Section titled “Anonymized Queries”Search Analytics includes queries called (anonymized query).

These are queries that Google anonymized before exporting them to BigQuery. Queries that contain sensitive personal information, as well as queries with low search volume globally, are subject to anonymization.
Google’s official Search Console UI does not show anonymized queries in order to protect user privacy, but Amethyst displays them as anonymized queries.
For many sites, this lets you see more traffic than what appears in Google’s official Search Console, and that traffic is more accurate.
Because the queries are anonymized, you cannot see the actual query text. However, by using Search Analytics, you can check data such as how many anonymized searches and how much anonymized traffic each URL receives.
You can also filter to include only anonymized queries, or exclude them.
